I took Nadia today for her 9 month check up, which is so hard to believe! Dr. Wuellner says she looks perfect again - we're so thankful that she's been so healthy.
Nadia at 9 months-
-weighs 20 lbs, 2 oz and is 28 1/4 in long. Length, weight, and head circumference are all between the 50th and 75th percentile.
-eats all kinds of table foods and gerber graduates now and is very interested in feeding herself
-gets really excited when you ask her if she wants a Mum Mum or her Ba-Ba. Mum mums are rice cake type crackers for babies...they really have very little flavor!
-also gets excited and squeals when Ma Ma asks her if she wants her Bunny, which is the ugliest toy at Ma Ma's house, but Nadia's favorite!
-is starting to recognize words - Nadia, Sable (our dog), Mum Mum, night night, bunny
-getting so fast at crawling! She still uses her elbows instead of her hands, but she gets around so well we're thinking she may never change how she does it
-has two teeth on top and two on bottom...and likes to bite EVERYTHING, including the furniture and Mommy's shoulder!
-thinks it's quite funny when Mommy gets mad and tells her "no"
-is starting to pull up on things - she had been just getting onto her knees but yesterday she pulled all the way up on the kitchen chair. She attemps "cruising" along the furniture but usually falls.
In general, Nadia is very, very BUSY all the time...she wears us out, which we know will only get worse when she starts walking!
